In 1980’s when there was a dearth of education sector all over the country, and when approached by the regional administration, our Hon’ble chairman Shri S.K. Sharma dared to invest in the non-profitable noble cause of setting up of educational institutions  for the good of the society and spreading quality education all over the country. With this aim, the SKS Group of Institutions was established to provide quality education and set up a new model in India’s history of technical education.

Today SKS Group endures as a conglomerate of eighteen educational institutions including SKS Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital and Chain of SKS World Schools at several distinct, easily accessible strategic locations, apart from several other businesses. The Technical Institutions under the banner of SKSgi are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and are affiliated to concerned State Universities/ State Council and the schools are affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Additionally, the Medical College is approved by Ministry of AYUSH and MCI and CCIM, New Delhi. The Pharmacy colleges are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. SKSgi’s campuses are established at strategic locations, i.e. Campus Durgapur and Campus Raniganj in West Bengal in the Eastern Region; Campus at Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Campus Mathura in Uttar Pradesh in the Northern Region with the enrolment of over 15000 students and with a track record of more than 10000 Alumni’s, placed in top technical and non-technical multinational companies, research institutions of the country and abroad. The commitment to excellence is reflected in the robust infrastructure combined with a congenial and invigorating academic atmosphere visible in all the institutions promoted by the Group.
